for having me on this morning! Here are the recipes from the show... I made these 3 smoothies for a local Childcare and Preschool, Sweet Kiddles
in Strongsville. I figure if preschoolers like my smoothies then adults should too ;) Green Giant Smoothie (or Shrek Smoothie or Popeye Smoothie)
1 cup purified water or half water/half ice 3 cups spinach or favorite greens 2-3 bananas... 1/2 cup pineapple (optional) Orange Dreamsicle Smoothie
1 cup orange juice, freshly squeezed 1 large carrot or more 1 cup coconut milk (I buy the silk brand) 2 bananas, frozen 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 Tbsp maple syrup Hot Pink Smoothie
1½ cups coconut water 2 tsp vanilla extract 1 large carrot ½ raw beet ¼ cup cashews (optional, we didn't use due to tree nut allergies) 4-5 pitted dates 1 scoop of vanilla vegan protein powder (optional) 12 frozen strawberries I suggest using a Vitamix Blender
for the best smoothie results, blend until smooth and creamy! Be sure to keep an eye out for a clip from the show to see my tips for losing weight with green smoothies!
