Easy Raw Pizza

Enjoying raw food doesn’t mean just salads and smoothies. Try this easy pizza crust for a gluten and dairy free nutritious treat!

Easy Pizza Crust
2 cups Flax (ground)
1/2 cup Onion
2 stalks Celery
1 Carrot
1 Tomato (large)
2 cloves Garlic
1 tsp Sea Salt
1/2 cup Pure Water

  1. In a Vitamix or high speed blender, process veggies, then add flaxseed meal
  2. Form into 4 small rounds or rectangles or 1 large round on non-stick dehydrator sheets.
  3. Dehydrate at 140° for 45 minutes then flip and dehydrate on 110° until semi dry, not brittle.
  4. Top with a layer sundried tomato pesto then a layer of your favorite veggie toppings, followed by a drizzle of cashew cheese. continue to dehydrate to desired texture.
  5. Another option is to dehydrate without toppings and add fresh toppings to the crust as you’d like.

Sundried Tomato Pesto
1 cup sundried tomatoes, soaked
1/2 cup basil
1/4 cup pinenuts, I also use walnuts
1-2 cloves of garlic
1 t. sea salt
1/3 cup olive oil
  1. In a Vitamix or food processor, blend all ingredients to desired texture. 

Easy Pizza Cheese Sauce
2 cups Brazil Nuts, Cashews or Pine Nuts
1 tsp Sea Salt
2 tbsp Lemon Juice
2 cloves Garlic
Water, as needed
  1. In a Vitamix blender, blend all ingredients adding water slowly until smooth.
