CHOCOLATE EXPLOSION!

Sometimes we all need a bit of chocolate in our lives! This recipe is a chocolate explosion of dairy-free goodness. Enjoy with CAUTION.. Chocolate Ice Cream and Chocolate Sauce 1  c. cashews ½ c. Brazil nuts 1 ½ c.  water 2/3 c.  maple syrup ½ c. cacao or cocoa  powder 2 T. melted coconut oil 1 t. pure vanilla extract 2 pinches salt
  1. Using a Vita mix, blend all ice cream ingredients, except the coconut oil , until smooth and creamy. Add the oil and blend again to incorporate.
  2. Process the mixture in an ice cream maker according to the manufacturers instructions. Alternatively, freeze in a freezer bowl.
Chocolate Sauce 5 T. cacao or cocoa  powder 5 T. of maple 3T.  almond butter 2-3 T. water ½ t.  pure vanilla extract Pinch of sea salt 1 ½ T.  melted coconut oil
  1. Mix all ingredients in a blender until smooth, adding the oil last.
