The Real Grean Cleaning

green cleaning blogFour years ago when I became pregnant with my first, I started to really pay attention to what I was using to clean our home. I started with "green cleaning" products from the store, but soon after noticed that the ingredients weren't always legit. When my baby girl started moving around and getting into things I decided to only have cleaning products that would be safe if she accidentally got a hold of them. This is when I began to make all my own products with safe and inexpensive ingredients. Here is one of the first recipes I made, All Purpose Cleaning Spray. I use this for cleaning my kitchen, bathroom, floors and whatever else I think needs a squirt.

Real Green Cleaning, DIY All Purpose Cleaning Spray.

  • 2 Tbsp. white distiller vinegar
  • 1 tsp. Dr. Bronner's Castile Soap
  • 2 cups distilled water
  • 10 drops doTERRA Essential oil.
I use On Guard Essential Oil Blend for our home and studio. On Guard is a blend of cinnamon, clove, eucalyptus, rosemary, and wild orange. Lemon Essential Oil is also a good choice. Both are a great addition to your cleaner for killing bacteria, viruses, fungi, and mold. Also great for immune system support.  Learn more about making your own Green Cleaning products this Wednesday or Thursday February 26th and 27th 2014 in my Green Cleaning classes @ Pure and La Look. Details Here Glass bottles for making your products can be found  here.
