Edible Exfoliating Facial Scrub

Facial Scrub/Mask that you can Eat! Recommended for all skin types except those with severe acne, Rosacea, broken capillaries, very sensitive, thin elderly, sunburned or wind burned skin. For all skin types use only ground oatmeal. This scrub leaves your skin feeling very soft and can double as a facial mask by allowing it to dry for 20 minutes before rinsing. ½ cup ground oatmeal ¼ cup ground almonds or walnuts ¼ cup ground sunflower seeds scrub 1 drop doTERRA Peppermint Essential Oil  1 drop of doTERRA Cinnamon essential Oil Distilled water for oily skin, milk for normal skin, and cream for dry skin (I use coconut milk and coconut cream for a vegan version) I like the peppermint and cinnamon for the aroma and tingling, not because of my skin type. Feel free to use what you like.   Thoroughly blend all the ingredients in a bowl or shake it up in a small zip lock bag. Place in mixture in a glass storage container. No refrigeration is required but it is best if used within 6 months. To mix the scrub for use: in a bowl combine 2-3 teaspoons of dry scrub with enough water, milk or cream to form a spreadable paste. Allow the paste to thicken for 1-2 minutes. Follow up with your favorite moisturizer, I love using jojoba oil mixed with doTERRA Immortelle essentil oil blend.
