Raw Caramel Apples

I lied, this is actually my Cinnamon Fruit Dip Recipe! The other day a friend of mine brought up caramel apples and I haven't stopped thinking about chomping into one ever since! I use this fruit dip recipe for apples, pears, grapes, and even melons. For Caramel Apples simply coat an apple with this delicious dip and sprinkle it with chopped pecans or shredded coconut! Cinnamon Fruit Dipcinnamon fruit dip 1/2 cup   Cashews (soaked) 1/2 cup   Dates (soaked, reserve some of the soak water) 1 tbsp     Organic Coconut Oil 1/2 tsp    Cinnamon 1 tbsp     Maple Syrup Dash       Sea Salt
  1. In a Vitamix or high-speed blender, puree all of the ingredients until smooth.
NOTE: If you use it right away, it has the consistency of soft caramel for dipping.  If you refrigerate, it will become firmer, but is still good for dipping, just not as soft.   Yield: 1 cup
