A healthy twist on “Reese’s” Peanut Butter Eggs
Need a last minute dish to bring to your Easter Sunday gathering?
Everyone loves peanut butter and chocolate (if they don’t, you probably shouldn’t be hanging out with them). Super easy and less than 5 ingredients!
Peanut Butter Filling:
1 cup natural peanut butter
1/4 cup maple syrup
3 tbsp almond flour (or more of batter is sticky)
1/4 tsp sea salt
- Mix all ingredients besides almond flour very well.
- Add almond flour 1 Tbsp. at a time to desired texture.
- Spoon 2 Tbsp. into your hand and form into an egg shape. Chill for 15 minutes.
1 1/2 cups enjoy life chocolate chips melted down in a double boiler.
3/4 cup melted coconut oil
3/4 cup room temperature maple syrup
1/2 cup cacao powder
- Mix all ingredients very well.
Using a fork to hold the peanut butter egg, dip in the chocolate syrup.
Place on a non stick cookie sheet or parchment paper.
Chill for 15 minutes and enjoy!
